It wasn't that bad Crumpet. I just had a temporary crown put on. The novocain is wearing off and it is little sore. The high light of the visit was when my dentist got out his dental camera (he takes it to the beach with him) and showed me pictures he took while surfing this weekend. It make a crappy experience better. The bad thing is I have to back a couple of more times before the end of the year.

I don't have problem with them pointing out he was a Jehovah's Witness because Witnesses alway manage to point the religion of anyone else who does things like this.
What I really do find interesting is this statement:

What can someone in her position do? I can't believe how many times a women will have restraining order against the person who winds up killing her. I don't know if she had one but he was obviously stocking her. Only thing I can think of doing is to move and leave no forwarding addresss but how practical is that? -

I just got back from the dentist. It is 80 outside and sunny so I can't complain. After reading Crumpets post any complaining I was planning on doing about my trip to the dentist was knock right out of me. I hope your day gets better Crumpet.

Disturbing Information Passed on in Annual Elders Meeting?
by Dune inas you all may know, the elders around america have had (or will have) their annual meetings.
you know, the ones where they are trained and brought up to date about the whole scheme of things.. anyway, an elder who i happen to be close to was telling me yesterday that some troubling/disturbing things has been going down in congregations worldwide.
he also mentioned that it will be mentioned in watchtowers and km's in the next few months.. anyone know what he may be talking about?

Too many witnesses chewing gum at meetings.
Worldwide 23 brothers were spotted wearing beards at meetings.
Sisters wearing their skirts too short.

I think any number of petty offenses could set them off. Remember they are into total control.

Catholics, for example know that Christmas is wrong, that it was not the day Jesus was born the own catholic encyclopidia states it. And they celebrate it
Kinda the pot calling the kettle black when a JW brings up false dates. How about these from the Watchtower: Christ returned in 1874. Christ returned in 1914 (ok, they still teach that but come on it should be fairly obvious by now they were wrong again). The end will come in 1914. The end will come in 1975. Lots of others but these should suffice to show the WT has a major problem with false dates. You say you have researched other religions. It is time for you to research you own, independently without the Watchtower directing you where to look.
